Pohex

Editorial policy

The rules every Pohex page follows. They are enforced by the software that builds the site as much as by the desk that runs it.

  1. 1

A discount is a measurement, not a promise

The percentage or amount on a page is what the store's own checkout showed when our software applied the code, on the cart the page describes. A figure a store or creator states is shown only while a code is unmeasured, and is labelled as stated.

  2. 2

Every date is a real event

"Measured at checkout" dates are the day a test ran. "Updated" is the day the page's data changed. No date is ever set to the day a page was built, and a re-test that finds the same value moves the measured date only.

  3. 3

Nothing is written about a store that its own pages do not say

Store descriptions, shipping and returns summaries are drafted from the store's own pages and must cite them. A sentence whose numbers or key terms are not found in the source is dropped before publication.

  4. 4

No invented people, votes or usage counts

There are no reviewer profiles, no "used 1,204 times", no star ratings and no testimonials. The success history on a card is the list of tests we actually ran.

  5. 5

Dead codes come down the day a test fails

A code the checkout rejects is removed from its page and the sitemap on that day's build. If it starts working again, it is relisted with a fresh measurement and the gap is visible in its history.

  6. 6

    Commissions never decide a listing

Stores do not pay to be listed and cannot change what a page says. Order on a page is by newest measurement and measured value. Program terms that forbid listing a code are honoured: the code is not published.

  7. 7

Automation is disclosed where it is used

Every store page carries a line stating what was measured by software, what was drafted by a language model, and which creator account the code belongs to.

  8. 8

    Corrections are public

An error reported to us is fixed on the page and logged on the corrections page with the date and what changed.
